The Soft Credit Check has no impact on your client’s credit score as it is not visible to companies. Only your client will be able to see a Soft Credit Check on their credit report.
Do I need to gain client consent to complete a Soft Credit Check?
Yes, prior to submission you will be prompted to confirm that you have secured consent from your client to perform the Soft Credit Check. This is in addition to the consent obtained on the Client Estimate Form.
What communication does the client receive?
